Virginia Scrivener, DVM, CCRP, CCPP, CVMA, FFCP

Hailing originally from Boonsboro Maryland, Dr. Virginia Scrivener attended HCC before completing her education at the Ohio State, where she obtained her DVM in 1988. She founded her first veterinary practice, the Animal Health Clinic of Funkstown, in 1993 and expanded her expertise by establishing a veterinary rehabilitation facility, the Animal Rehab & Pain Center in 2014, catering to the comprehensive wellness needs of her animal patients. She earned her CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) and CVPP (Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner) credentials in 2013, followed by her CVMA (Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist) certification in 2015. Dedicated to providing compassionate and fear-free veterinary care, Dr. Scrivener also became a Fear-Free Certified Professional in 2017. Further proving her commitment to enhancing the quality of life for her patients.
Kim Olsen, RVT, MT, CCFT, CCRP, FFCP

Kimberly Stouffer has been working in the veterinary field for more than 20 years. Her journey began at the University of Pennsylvania, where she honed her skills in a large animal hospital's ICU and NICU. In 2006, Kim and her family relocated to our area, where she transitioned into small animal veterinary medicine. in 2013 she eventually found her true passion in physical rehabilitation at the Animal Rehab and Pain Center. Driven by her desire to help pets enhance their fitness and mental well-being Kim went on to become a master trainer as well as earn her CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) and her CCFT (Certified canine Fitness Trainer).
Beyond her professional endeavors, Kim is a devoted mother to two teenage daughters and a proud owner of a small farm, where she raises adorable Babydoll Southdown sheep. Her deep affection for both people and animals is evident in her unwavering dedication to her career and her nurturing home life. Kim's commitment to improving the lives of animals and fostering strong bonds within her community shines through in all she does.
